CV's Renewables team is seeking an ambitious Commercial Administrator / Assistant Contract Administrator to join our growing team.
Working alongside experienced commercial and project professionals, you'll gain hands‐on exposure to major renewable energy, industrial, and electrical infrastructure projects across Australia.
This is more than an administration role.
You'll be involved in contract reviews, commercial risk assessment, contract administration, variations, claims, and project support, developing the foundations for a future career as a Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, Project Manager, or Commercial Lead.

About the Role
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager and supporting Senior Project Managers, you'll assist with the commercial and contractual management of a portfolio of projects while developing practical experience across all aspects of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Commercial Support
Assist with the review of client contracts, subcontracts and purchase agreementsSupport the preparation of commercial and technical departuresIdentify contractual risks and commercial obligationsAssist with client and subcontractor commercial negotiations
Contract Administration
Maintain contract and obligations registersTrack variations,



contractual notices, claims and key datesPrepare and manage commercial correspondenceEnsure accurate document control and contract compliance
Project & Commercial Management
Assist with variation pricing and claim preparationSupport monthly commercial reporting and project performance reviewsMaintain records to support contractual entitlementsSupport procurement and subcontract administration activities
Project Delivery Support
Work closely with Project Managers across multiple projectsAttend commercial and project meetingsPrepare reports, action registers and meeting minutesContribute to commercial governance and process improvement initiatives
About You
We're looking for a motivated and commercially minded individual who is eager to learn and build a long‐term career in the construction, infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
You Will Have
Final year or recently completed degree in:
Construction ManagementCommerceLawOr a related disciplineStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong Microsoft Office and Excel skillsAnalytical thinking and commercial awarenessA proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Highly Regarded
Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure or utilities projectsUnderstanding of Australian Standard contractsFamiliarity with AS****, AS****, AS**** or EPC-style contractsExperience with project reporting or commercial administration
