As our hospital continues to evolve, we're looking for an enthusiastic, capable Equine Veterinary Nurse to join our team. This is an all-rounder nursing role within a busy equine hospital, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and has a genuine interest in surgery.

About the Role
n
This position offers exposure across all areas of equine hospital nursing, including:

Medical case management and hospital care
n
Assisting with lameness workups and procedures
n
Preparation and maintenance of surgical theatres
n
Supporting anaesthesia and surgical procedures
n
Sterilisation and infection control
n
Bandaging, catheter care, fluid therapy and medication administration
n
Patient monitoring and recovery
n
Stock control and equipment maintenance
n
n
While this is not a surgery-only role, we are particularly keen to find someone who is motivated to develop their skills in theatre alongside general nursing duties.

What We're Looking For

Equine nursing experience preferred
n
A solid interest in surgery and anaesthesia
n
Confidence handling horses in a hospital environment
n
Ability to remain calm and organised in high-pressure situations
n
High attention to detail and robust clinical standards
