We are devoted to developing, motivating and up-skilling all of our staff wherever possible to grow the future of the electrical industry.Qualifications & experienceWe are looking for an Electrician, Electrical Fitter or Trade Assistant to be involved in the construction & manufacturing of our custom switchboard projects, based out of our Pakenham depot.Driver's license and own vehicle preferredHold a White CardLocal to the area would be preferredExperience with interpreting & designing electrical schematicsKnowledge of electrical standards & regulationsWiring and/or busbar experience highly preferredA solid focus on neatness and accuracyAbility to work unsupervised and be a team player when met with tight deadlinesHold an A-Grad Electrical qualification ORHold an Electrical Fitter's qualification ORHave years of experience as a Trade Assistant in switchboard manufacturingTasks & responsibilitiesAssist other qualified electricians / fitters and focus on working as a team.Assist apprentices and help them to learn and develop trade skills.Install, repair, and manufacture various electrical wiring systems within electrical switchboards.Operate specialist machinery specific to building/manufacturing switchboards.Follow all OHS safety codes and building regulationsPrepare and clean work areasBuild and develop skills in reading & writing electrical diagrams and schematics.White Rhino strongly believes that happy employees shape the success of the company.Our people thoroughly enjoy working for us because we offer a challenging and rewarding work environment.
