Job Description

SLH are working with a well known manufacturer based on the Central Coast who have multiple vacancies for Forklift Operators. There are two shift patterns available and overtime on weekend (not compulsory):

Dayshift: 6am to 3pm
n Afternoon Shift: 3pm to 12am

n

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

n

n
Use of hand and power tools such as sledge hammer, drills etc
n
Concrete patching and repairs
n
Preparation of molds and forms, including cleaning, assembling, oiling, and setting reinforcement cages or steel mesh.
n
Operation of forklifts - using tynes, clamps and turntables
n
Support other yard activities such as stacking, labelling and general hour keeping
n
Meet daily production targets
n

What you need to succeed:

n

n
Able to pass and drug and alcohol test and basic physical
n
Experience in a manufacturing, precast concrete, or construction setting (preferred but not always essential)
n
Ability to safely handle heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
n
Solid understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
n
Ability to work in a team environment and follow supervisor instructions effectively
n
Ability to use hand and power tools
n
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn recent processes or machinery.
n
Valid forklift license (LF) – experience operating forklifts with tynes, slippers, or clamps.
n
