About the roleWe are seeking a Junior Accountant to join the finance team at TPP Hospitality Group.
This is a full time position based in Glebe, NSW ****.
In this role, you will support the preparation and maintenance of financial records, assist with financial reporting, and contribute to the smooth operation of our accounting function.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a dynamic hospitality environment and gain practical experience in financial accounting and reporting.Key responsibilitiesRecording and processing daily financial transactions accurately and in a timely mannerAssisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statementsReconciling balance sheet accounts and investigating variancesSupporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsMaintaining detailed financial records and ensuring documentation is properly filed and organisedAssisting with bank reconciliations and cash management activitiesPerforming general ledger data entry and journal entry processingSupporting external audits and providing requested financial informationAssisting with month-end and year-end close proceduresLiaising with other departments to gather financial information and clarify transactionsWhat we're looking forA relevant accounting qualification (such as completion of an accounting degree, diploma or equivalent professional qualification)Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices,
