You will be responsible for operating and setting up CNC machinery, edge bander and panel saw equipment, while also assisting with deliveries, forklift operation and maintaining an organised production area.About the RoleYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:Operating and setting up CNC machinery, edge bander and panel sawProducing components accurately from drawings, plans and specificationsMeasuring and checking finished components to ensure quality and accuracyMonitoring machinery during production and making adjustments as requiredCarrying out routine machine cleaning, maintenance and adjustmentsIdentifying and troubleshooting basic machine faultsPerforming preventative maintenance to minimise downtimeSafely operating a forklift to move materials and products around the workplaceUnloading incoming deliveries using the appropriate equipment and following safe handling proceduresChecking, sorting and organising deliveries and materialsEnsuring materials are stored correctly and are easily accessible to the production teamKeeping machinery, tools, materials and work areas clean,



organised and safeFollowing workplace health and safety proceduresWorking closely with the production team to meet deadlines and production targetsAssisting with general workshop and production duties as requiredAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience operating CNC machinery, edge bander and panel sawStrong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skillsExperience with basic machine maintenance and troubleshootingThe ability to accurately read plans, drawings and measurementsForklift operating experience and a current forklift licenceExperience unloading, checking and sorting deliveriesA strong understanding of workplace safety and secure manual handlingGood attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality workThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA reliable, punctual and positive attitudePride in keeping machinery and the workplace clean, safe and well organisedJoinery/cabinet making experienceWhy Join Us?
