JMP Engineering (Australia), a leading Robotic Palletising company based in Thomastown VIC, is looking for a highly motivated Service Technician to add to its expanding Installation and Service team.
The role is varied as it is a combination of service, maintenance, and mechanical installation of new systems.
Experience in working on palletizing systems, conveyors, stretch wrappers or similar machinery will be highly regarded.
It is essential, that the applicant hold a current driver's license.The ideal candidate would have the following abilities and attributes:The ideal candidate would have the following abilities and attributes:Employment history as a service technician or maintenance fitter on either industrial machinery, conveyors, robots,



stretch wrappersSelf-motivatedCan work in a team environmentEnsure all activities are carried out in a secure manner and comply with all company policies and proceduresBe able to complete all safety inductions from online sourcesProfessionally represent the company when out on customer's site, liaise with on‐site maintenance contacts and answer any queries they may have in regards to their maintenance issuesPerform service/repair works to JMP equipment as requiredAssist with mechanical installations in Australia and overseas if requiredCo-operate with relevant Technical Development Project Leader in the direction of the installation of new project equipmentExpected to travel away locally and interstate when required.
Some installations may be 2 - 3 weeks away from home.Fluency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skillsFork Lift license holder also beneficialAll applicants for this position should have an Australian residency.Please note: We are interested in applicants from the local Melbourne area only.
