Due to continued growth across North Queensland, Peak ARE is seeking a reliable and motivated Storeman / Driver to join our Townsville team in a permanent, full-time position.This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
You'll play an important part in keeping our field and project teams moving by ensuring materials, equipment, tools and company assets are where they need to be, when they need to be there.About the RoleWorking from our Townsville Head Office, you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day operation and organisation of our stores and warehouse facilities.Your responsibilities will include:Receiving, checking and organising incoming materials and equipmentCoordinating deliveries and collections to jobsites and suppliersMonitoring and maintaining company tools, equipment and other assetsKeeping the warehouse, stores and yard clean, organised and functionalAssisting with stock control and ensuring materials are stored correctlyPreparing materials and equipment for field and project teamsOperating forklifts and company vehicles as requiredIdentifying issues early and taking ownership of getting them sortedWorking closely with our Mechanical, Electrical, Service and Administration teamsEnsuring company and client assets are handled responsiblyFollowing Peak ARE WHS&E; requirements,
