You'll be part of creating a protected, structured and therapeutic environment where young people can build confidence, develop life skills and experience positive, consistent relationships.You'll be:Supporting young people with their daily routines, care and activitiesBuilding positive relationships based on trust, consistency and respectResponding calmly to challenges and behavioural needsMentoring young people to explore their interests, hobbies and cultural activitiesWorking collaboratively on individualised care plans and maintaining clear, factual documentationYou'll also administer medication safely, follow individual support plans and complete handover notes and incident reports when required.What We're Looking ForThe right experience is important,

You'll be able to stay calm when things get challenging, adapt your approach when needed and understand that building trust can take time.You'll also need:A Diploma in Youth Work, Child & Family, or Community Services OR willingness to enrolA current unrestricted Australian driver's licenceRequired probity clearancesFull availability across a range of shifts, including weekends and overnightsA collaborative, solutions-focused approach and willingness to learnLifestyle SolutionsAt Lifestyle Solutions, we support children and young people to feel secure, supported and connected.Our Therapeutic Youth Workers provide more than day-to-day care.
