We are looking to fill a unique position in our Event's Department, with a broad criterion.
Whilst the focus will be on sourcing business, other areas include - building client relations, room shows, actioning enquiries, administration, and making sure that our functions are seamless!
This position is fulltime salary and is very hands on.
Rolling up the sleeves and helping to set an event could be in the job description.
The candidate will need to work a variety of shifts and will suit someone that likes a fast pace, has multi skill talents, a flair for creative ideas and is a robust "people person".
Source function and event businessLiaise with clients and put together function proposalsConduct room shows to potential clientsOversee aspects of event set up and serviceIncreasing sales opportunities through new ideas and promotionsRespond to function enquiries in a prompt,



professional mannerLiaise with Operations Manager to coordinate events needs as requiredCommunicate with Executive Chef regarding food service requirementsOffer a high standard of customer service to match the high standard of our reputationWork with Function's Supervisor and Function AttendantsOversee event operations to ensure staff are performing their jobs to Club standards.Respond to customer feedback in accordance with Club guidelines.Support Functions Manager with administration duties when requiredAssist with room set ups and break downs (including moving furniture)Additional requirementsFunction and Events understandingFull shift availability, including weekendsA sound understanding of online booking systemsAdministrative skills (invoicing, spreadsheet, emails)This is not your average BDM role.
