Waverley Council is looking for Casual Lifeguards to join our Lifeguard services team.
You will play a key role in maintaining safety of beach users and responding to incidents at Waverley beaches.Rotating roster.
Monday to FridayCasualSalary: $***** - $***** including 25% loading plus applicable allowancesUniforms & PPE SuppliedYearly flu shots, skin checks and annual health and wellbeing fairDiscounted gym membership through Fitness PassportFlexible working conditionsThe RoleIn this role you are responsible for but not limited to:Providing service on Council's beaches through monitoring and advising beach and water usersCoordinating and providing rescue activities when requiredStrong communication and conflict resolution skills when dealing with the public, team members and other stakeholdersAbility to mitigate unpredictable risksManaging and monitoring the safety of mass number of beach goersCertificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) (PUA*****)Certificate III Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) or willingness to enrol and completeAdvanced Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID007)Occupational First Aid Certificate or willingness to enrol and complete (HLTSS*****)Advanced Spinal Care (PUAEME008)Provide Pain Management (PUAEME008)
