and have a passion for language teaching.Core RequirementsNEAS recognised qualification in TESOL (CELTA, Master of TESOL etc)Bachelor or above Degree in any disciplineA deep knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciationA great passion for teachingWorking with Children CheckVIT registration (preferred)Desired QualitiesBachelor or Masters in Applied Linguistics, Teaching or EducationPrevious HSP/PSP/ELICOS teaching experienceNEAS Quality ELT Professionals are highly preferrableNative proficiency in EnglishSome understanding of the ESOS Act, National Code and CRICOS regulationsGeneral ResponsibilitiesTeach a variety of HSP/PSP classes face-to-face on campusPrepare lesson plans with dynamic activities designed to engage and inspire studentsFocus on supporting and assisting students taking into account students' individual learner differences and learning styles wherever possibleGive students regular tests in line with the Assessment Schedule and syllabusFollow the learning outcomes detailed in the syllabusKeep accurate records of students' attendance and punctuality in accordance with the ESOS ActUndertake suitable training and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and resources.Attend and participate in teachers meetings as requiredRefer students to other staff such as student services or the Director of Studies when the student has questions/problems that are beyond your expertise or knowledgeAssess students' proficiency for their graduation certificatesAdvise students with independent learning strategies outside of the classroom as appropriateContribute to the ongoing development of teaching materials for shared use with other teachersAssist the Direct of Studies and Academic Managers on other tasksAll applicants must have appropriate working rights in Australia.
