high-quality football programsDeveloping and implementing local action plans that respond to community needs and support sustainable participation growthIdentifying and progressing opportunities to increase participation among underrepresented communitiesSupporting junior competitions, emerging teams and local initiatives that strengthen participation pathwaysContributing local insights and delivery support to broader AFL Tasmania programs, projects, events and AFLW and VFLW match-day activitiesUsing technology and AI to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and innovation of program deliveryWhat you'll bringExperience coordinating or delivering programs involving children, young people, sport, education, recreation or community participationStrong communication and relationship-management capability across participants, families, schools, clubs, volunteers and community partnersThe ability to plan, prioritise and manage field-based activities across multiple locations and changing operational requirementsCapability to recruit, coordinate, train or support volunteers and casual program staffPractical judgement and initiative, with the ability to identify local opportunities and work collaboratively to deliver outcomesRelevant qualifications in sport, recreation, education, coaching, community development or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experienceConfidence using Microsoft Office applicationsCapacity to undertake regional travel and occasional evening, weekend and event-based workA commitment to delivering safe, inclusive and positive experiences for children, families and communitiesWhy you'll love being on our teamAt the AFL, you will be part of a values-led team that aims high, backs each other and brings energy,
