We specialise in the manufacture, installation and fitting of custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects.Due to continued business requirements and an increasing volume of projects, we are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team on a full-time basis.About the PositionThe successful applicant will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly and installation of a range of custom-made cabinetry and joinery products.
The position requires a practical and experienced tradesperson who can work accurately from plans and measurements and complete projects to a high standard.About the roleThis is a full-time Cabinet Maker / Joiner position with an established cabinet manufacturing and joinery business.
You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and installing custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects, working from architectural drawings and specifications.Key responsibilitiesRead and interpret architectural drawings, plans, specifications and measurementsMeasure and mark materials accurately for cutting and assemblySelect, prepare and work with timber, manufactured boards, laminates and other cabinetry materialsCut, shape and assemble components using appropriate hand and power tools and woodworking machineryManufacture and assemble kitchen cabinets, wardrobes,



vanities, storage units and other custom joineryInstall cabinetry and joinery at residential and commercial sitesFit doors, drawers, hinges, handles, shelving, hardware and other cabinet componentsEnsure cabinetry is accurately aligned, levelled and securely installedInspect completed work to ensure it meets drawings, specifications and quality requirementsMaintain a clean, organised and secure workshop and worksiteAbout youRelevant trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a closely related fieldDemonstrated professional experience as a Cabinet Maker / JoinerAbility to read and interpret plans, drawings and specificationsStrong practical skills in cabinet manufacturing and installationAbility to use woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamGood communication and organisational skillsAbility to meet project deadlines and work efficiently in a busy environmentFull-time employment with an established cabinet manufacturing and joinery businessCompetitive remuneration based on qualifications, skills and experienceStable employment and ongoing workOpportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial cabinetry projectsProfessional and supportive working environment
