The RoleOne casual position availableWe are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Pilates/Yoga Instructor to deliver engaging and rewarding sessions to the MLC student population.The role will be responsible for:Creating and delivering a 60-minute mat Pilates/Yoga workout for the MLC student populationWorking collaboratively with the Head of Athletic Development to provide a fun, challenging and rewarding programEnsuring programs and opportunities are enjoyable, progressive and accessible to studentsDeveloping flexible and individualised health and fitness programs, particularly for students with physical limitations.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesSome of your primary duties and responsibilities will include:Design and deliver a Pilates/Yoga program to the general MLC student population in consultation with the Head of Athletic Development, incorporating standardised warm-up and cool-down protocolsDevelop, manage and monitor core physical development and fundamental movement pathways for MLC studentsAssist with the design, planning and implementation of a testing and reporting framework for athletic developmentWork with external medical providers to ensure injury rehabilitation pathways are developed and followedDevelop flexible and individualised health and fitness programs, particularly for students with physical limitations.The SchoolMLC is a leading independent girls' day and boarding school in the inner east of Melbourne.
