This is a full-time, on-site role covering servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including Japanese and European vehicles.About usA.B Precision Mechanical is an independent automotive workshop based in Coomera.
We provide vehicle maintenance and repair services ranging from routine servicing to advanced diagnostics, with a focus on accurate workmanship, clear communication and a safe, organised workshop.What you'll be doingCarry out general servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehiclesPerform diagnostics and fault finding using modern diagnostic toolsComplete brake, suspension and steering repairsComplete logbook servicing to manufacturer specificationsAssist with Queensland roadworthy inspectionsCarry out tyre,



battery and related workshop work as requiredMaintain a clean and organised workspaceComplete accurate job documentationDeliver high-quality workmanship and attention to detailFollow all workplace health and safety requirementsWhat we're looking forFor 3rd year apprentices:Currently in Stage 3 / 3rd year of a recognised light vehicle mechanical apprenticeshipAbility to complete servicing and common repairs with limited supervisionStrong attention to detail and a qualified work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamOwn basic hand toolsFor fully qualified mechanics:Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalentProven workshop experience across a variety of vehicle makes and modelsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat we offerWages based on experience, qualifications and demonstrated skillOpportunity for a work vehicle, subject to experience and operational requirementsMonday to Friday work, with an early finish on FridaysUniform suppliedSupport to complete your apprenticeship if you are currently 3rd year
