Located in Penola, South Australia – the purpose-built plant provides a state-of-the‐art factory and is the newest of its kind in the southern hemisphere.The Union Dairy Company (UDC), part of the Midfield Group, is currently seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team based in Warrnambool, Victoria.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process milk supplier payments accurately and within agreed payment schedulesVerify milk volumes, rates, adjustments and other payment inputs against approved supporting informationReconcile milk movements and volumes between operational and finance recordsInvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies, volume or value variances and other outstanding itemsProcess supplier invoices, customer invoices and credit notes accurately and on timeAssist with supplier and customer account reconciliations, payment processing and follow-up of outstanding itemsAssist with month-end activities, reconciliations and finance reporting as requiredMaintain accurate records,



supporting documentation and current work instructionsSupport finance process improvements and complete other finance administration and ad hoc tasks as requiredSkills & ExperiencesRelevant practical experience in finance or accounts administrationExperience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing or similar finance activitiesHigh attention to detail and robust numerical and reconciliation skillsGood Excel and data entry skillsExperience using accounting or ERP systemsAbility to manage deadlines and high-volume transactionsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh level of professionalism, confidentiality and integrityDairy sector experience is desirableRelevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualificationsWHY JOIN US?
