This is an industry-leading aluminium fabrication company that stands out for its specialisation in creating custom extrusions, resulting in a wide range of high-quality aluminium products.Located in Braeside, we are looking for an Aluminium Fabricator to complement their team in an ongoing temporary to permanent position which will lead to full-time after a successful probation period.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAssembly of custom-made aluminium extrusion productsMIG welding of aluminium products i.e., exhibition events industryUse of basic hand-tools, power tools, and measuring instrumentsWorking in a team to assist with daily production requirementsSanding, operate aluminium saw, milling machine and interpret drawingsQualifications & ExperienceWeld components to a high-quality standard and in a safe mannerConfidence in MIG welding, measurements, accuracy, and assembly skillsPositive attitude with an eye for detail with the ability to work in a teamWeld aluminium from 1.6mm - 10mm mostly extrusionsIdeally the suitable candidate will have recent experience with MIG welding of aluminium products or components in a manufacturing workplace.
