Property Council of Australia – Sydney CBD NSWTheProperty Council of Australia is the leading advocate for one of Australia'smost significant industries, representing organisations that invest in,develop, own and manage property across the country.Wework closely with government, industry leaders and our members to createstronger communities, better cities and a more prosperous future.Aboutthe RoleWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a NSW EventCoordinator to join the team and be responsible for managing logistics fordesignated events in the NSW Division, ensuring all events run smoothly, meetbudget expectations and deliver a positive experience for Property Councilmembers and sponsors.Key Responsibilities:Coordination and delivery ofevents, including but not limited to business lunches and breakfasts,professional development courses, forums, networking events, conferences andother ad hoc eventsContribute to event plansincluding managing relevant stakeholders, setting and managing timelinesProvision of correct informationfor web definition set-up, preparation of run-sheets, chair notes and sponsorbriefings as necessary, ensuring complete attention to detailManageand track individual event budgets to ensure they are on track to reach targetsManage externalproviders to ensure the effective delivery of services required to deliverthe eventAs required, book andconfirm availability of speakers, obtain speaker biographies and marketingassets, and arrange pre-event briefings with speakersDeveloprun sheets and distribute accordinglyLiaisewith NSW Event and Marketing Manager to ensure sponsor deliverables aremet and Property Council promotional collateral, including table signageand brand promotion is displayedOrganisetravel/transfers and accommodation for speakers, dignitaries, staff andany other special guests as requiredManageall onsite activities including staff,



emcee and speakersDevelopment and distributionof post event surveysWhatYou'll BringPreviousexperience in events coordination demonstrating ability to multi-task andproject manage under difficult scenarios and at different stages of their eventcycleDemonstrated experience working with detail-oriented taskswith a high level of accuracy, customer focus and professionalism,self-motivatedMarketing experience and/or expertise an advantageExcellent communication and interpersonal skills,particularly verbal, and can adapt to style and medium to suit message andaudienceExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tomeet and exceed deadlinesProfessional attitude and professional personal presentationHighly organised and efficient – ability to juggle andprioritise many tasks at the same time through the use of effective timemanagement skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and flexibly in asmall team environment and under directionHard working, bright, astute, quick thinker and a 'can-do'attitudeQualifications in events management would be highlydesirableWillingness to travel interstate from time to timeAndwhat else?
