ProGlow Electrics is looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician with proven domestic new-home experience to join our growing team.
This is a full-time, long-term position for someone who is already confident working across new-home construction and wants to become an important part of a professional team.
Our projects are predominantly throughout Melbourne's Bayside and South-Eastern suburbs, ranging from quality volume construction through to premium and custom homes.

We work with established Melbourne builders and deliver projects from initial electrical infrastructure through to handover, including: Power and lighting Underground electrical supplies Switchboards and electrical infrastructure Data and communications Security and CCTV Audio visual Control4 home automation Architectural and feature lighting We have a strong focus on quality workmanship, organisation and doing the job right the first time.
The Role As an A-Grade Electrician with ProGlow, you'll be responsible for delivering new-home electrical projects to a high standard while working closely with our field and operations teams.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Completing electrical works across all stages of new-home construction Reading and working accurately from electrical plans Rough-ins, fit-offs, switchboards and associated electrical works Coordinating effectively with builders,



supervisors and other trades Leading and mentoring apprentices on site Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and presentation Identifying issues early and communicating them with the team Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and safety requirements Taking ownership of the quality and completion of your work What We're Looking For Previous domestic new-home electrical experience is essential for this position.
We're looking for someone who: Holds a current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence Has strong hands-on experience in domestic new-home construction Understands the pace, sequencing and expectations of residential building sites Produces consistently high-quality work Can work efficiently without sacrificing workmanship Is organised, reliable and takes responsibility for their work Communicates well with apprentices, colleagues and site supervisors Is comfortable supervising and developing apprentices Has strong fault-finding and electrical knowledge Holds a current driver's licence Holds a Construction Industry White Card Has their own standard electrical hand tools Experience in volume building, premium/custom homes, data, security, underground supplies or home automation will be highly regarded.
You don't need to already be a Control4 expert, we'll provide training and exposure to the technology we use.
