We are seeking to recruit a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy Branch located near Gold Coast Airport.OverviewYou will provide an honest and high-quality service designed to get our cars and customers on the road safely and quickly.
This self-motivated and hardworking individual will meet the following criteria:Minimum Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalentAt least two years' experience working in the industry post-qualificationExcellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilitiesSound auto-electrical knowledgeAbility to work autonomouslyEffective time management and communication skillsA strong work ethic and attention to detailReliabilityTeam spiritGeneral ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled maintenance and servicing, including oil changes, lubrication, engine tune-ups, and other preventative maintenance tasks.Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment, computer-based testing tools, and technical expertise.Inspect, dismantle, and remove engines, transmissions, steering systems, and other mechanical components for assessment and repair.Repair or replace worn, damaged,



or defective parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications and service manuals.Reassemble engines, assemblies, and mechanical components following repairs and maintenance work.Test, adjust, and fine-tune repaired components to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability.Conduct detailed inspections of parts and systems to identify maintenance requirements and prevent future faults.Assess vehicle roadworthiness and, where authorised, issue certificates or recommend work required to meet compliance standards.Respond to vehicle breakdowns and provide on-site troubleshooting and repair assistance as required.Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace safety and environmental standards.A full Position Description can be provided upon request to ****** else is on offer?
