We are currently expanding our Aged Care GP network across East Melbourne and Regional Victoria and are seeking GPs interested in providing ongoing, high-quality medical care to residents in Residential Aged Care Facilities.
This is an opportunity to build a rewarding and versatile aged care portfolio, with the choice of one day per week or a larger ongoing commitment, depending on your availability and preferred location.
What they are offering:
$2,000–$3,000 per day earning potential, depending on commitment and patient numbers
70% of Medicare billings
100% of eligible GPACI incentives
No requirement to build your own patient base — residents are allocated to you by the facility
Flexible locations across East Melbourne and Regional Victoria
No after-hours or on-call required
Full support with onboarding and getting established in the facilities

The Role?
As an Aged Care GP, you will provide regular and comprehensive medical care to residents across Residential Aged Care Facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:




Conducting routine clinical assessments and medical reviews
Developing and reviewing resident care plans
Participating in multidisciplinary case conferences
Undertaking advance care planning
Reviewing chronic medications and working with pharmacists on medication management and RMMRs
Communicating with nursing staff, families and allied health professionals
Supporting the overall health and wellbeing of residents
About You?
We are looking for GPs who are:
FRACGP, MRCGP or ACRRM qualified (or equivalent)
Interested in providing ongoing care in an aged care setting
Experienced in aged care (preferred but not essential)
Available to commit to at least 1 day per week on an ongoing basis
Comfortable adapting to new systems and software
Strong communicators who enjoy working collaboratively with nursing and multidisciplinary teams
