Better Choice Fisheries is one of Australia's largest privately owned Seafood Processing companies. We are looking to appoint someone in the role of Factory All Rounder. Experience with food handling a must.

Roster between 7am to 3pm Mon - Fri, Saturdays as required

n

Permanent casual to start

n

North Wollongong, Australia Location

n

Key responsibilities

n

Removing waste

n

Daily cleaning of Warehouse

n

Loading and unloading of stock using forklift

n

Picking & packing orders

n

Palletising stock for storage

n

General upkeep of the quality of product

n

Cleaning of storage and work area

n

Adhoc duties as required

n

About you

n

Knowledge of fish/seafood products

n





Understanding of company HACCP food safety program and the cold chain process in particular

n

Excellent attention to detail

n

Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously

n

Excellent organisational skills

n

Forward thinker, capable of working unsupervised

n

Experience using a Forklift

n

Essential: Be physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy lifting. Must be certified medically fit.

n

Desirable: Previous experience in the Seafood industry
