St George Sailing Club is situated in Sans Souci and boasts our waterfront restaurant, offers two bars, a relaxed bistro with a seafood focus, a multi-purpose function room that can accommodate up to 250 people and not to mention our sun-kissed decks that is the place to be to unwind, relax and enjoy some mouth-watering food and delicious cocktails.
About the role n
You’ll be the right hand to our Head Chef, a calm but driving force behind a smooth, high-energy kitchen. From prep to pass, you’ll help lead the team to deliver food that looks amazing, tastes even better, and keeps our members and guests coming back for more.
Key responsibilities n
Supporting and leading the kitchen team

Maintaining high food standards and consistency
n
Assisting with menu development and specials
n
Managing stock, ordering and cost control
n
Driving a positive, respectful kitchen culture
About you n
A passion for hospitality – you genuinely care about the guest experience

Robust leadership skills – you can inspire, guide and develop a team

Solid experience in a rapid-paced kitchen
n
High standards in food quality, presentation & consistency
n
A cool head under pressure (you thrive in the rush)

Excellent knowledge of food safety & kitchen operations
