Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our legal team in Lismore, New South Wales. This part time, permanent position is ideal for a senior level skilled looking to contribute to a dynamic legal environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal advice ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while supporting our clients’ needs effectively.

Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of legal matters, including civil law advice and family law
Undertake casework including litigation and advocacy
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court submissions.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.




Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
Admitted to practice as a solicitor in Current South Wales.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a legal role, preferably in a similar practice area.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
