About the role
As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services across a range of client presentations.
You will conduct Functional Capacity Assessments, complete Assistive Technology, equipment and home modification assessments, provide individual therapy and capacity-building supports, develop intervention plans and clinical reports, support clients to achieve meaningful goals and improve independence, and collaborate with families, carers, schools, support coordinators and other health professionals.
You will maintain compliance with AHPRA, Occupational Therapy Australia and organisational standards.
Key responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services across a range of client presentations
Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments
Complete Assistive Technology, equipment and home modification assessments
Provide individual therapy and capacity-building supports
Develop intervention plans and clinical reports
Support clients to achieve meaningful goals and improve independence
Collaborate with families, carers, schools, support coordinators and other health professionals

About you




Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
Current AHPRA registration
Current Australian Driver's Licence
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Professional Indemnity Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
2+ years experience in NDIS sector
Passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives, compassionate, person-centred and strengths-focused
Salary package of $85,000 - $100,000 + Super

$2,500 annual professional development allowance
2 paid CPD days per year
Regular internal supervision and mentoring
Fortnightly OT discipline meetings
KPI target capped at 26 billable hours per week, including travel and report writing
Dedicated 4 clinical days + 1 administration day
Versatile scheduling and autonomy over your diary
Geographically zoned caseloads to minimise travel
Travel generally limited to ***** minutes from your home
Supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team
Quarterly team social events
