The successful candidate will be able to communicate comfortably in Greek with the client and provide support in a respectful, familiar, and culturally appropriate manner.You will also need to have positive English communication skills to communicate with the client, family members, and the Sensible Care team and to complete required care documentation.This is a casual role offering weekday shifts, with morning availability preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care and assistance with daily living activitiesCommunicate with and support the client in GreekAssist the client with their individual care needs and daily routinePrepare meals and assist with household tasks as requiredProvide companionship and emotional supportBuild a positive and respectful relationship with the clientFollow the client's care plan and support requirementsMonitor and report any changes in the client's needs or wellbeingCommunicate with family members and the Sensible Care team as requiredFollow all relevant health, safety, and infection-control requirementsAbout YouWe are looking for a compassionate and reliable Greek-speaking PCA/Care Worker who:Speaks Greek fluently or is highly proficient in GreekHas previous experience providing personal care / PCA support — preferredHolds a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, or a related qualification, or has a nursing backgroundIs compassionate, patient, respectful, and reliableHas good interpersonal and communication skillsIs comfortable providing personal care in a client's homeHas availability on weekdays between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, with morning availability preferredHolds a current Australian driver's licenceHas comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicleWhy Join Sensible Care?
