Based in Sydney, Wyer and Co is a team of dedicated landscape architects, designers, horticulturalists and construction specialists who collaborate with our clients to create, construct, and maintain exceptional landscapes for exceptional homes throughout Sydney.ABOUT THE ROLEWyer & Co. is expanding and we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced team leaders in garden maintenance looking to join our Sydney team for an immediate start in a full-time role.
The role involves leading a small team to deliver garden maintenance of the highest standard to our residential clients with the support of Wyer & Co management.ABOUT YOU4+ Years experience with working in the landscape industry and general garden maintenance, in particular high end residentialPossess the ability to nurture new landscapes to ensure they reach their full potentialHigh attention to detail and time management skillsTeam player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to both lead a small team and work collaboratively as part of a larger teamGreat work ethic with self-motivation and take pride in your workExperience completing detailed garden maintenance tasks such as; hedging, topiary trimming, seasonal pruning of perennials & turf maintenanceExceptional plant, weed, pest and disease identification knowledgeExperience using power equipment such as; hedge trimmer, whipper snipper, brush cutter,



mower etcExperience implementing seasonal fertiliser programs for both turf and gardensExperience with soft landscaping works such as; planting, mulching, turf renovations etcGood knowledge of safe work procedures and their implementationBe physically fit and enjoy working outdoorsWell presented and enthusiastic approach to all dutiesPossess a current driver's licenceMust hold current CI white card and first aid certification (or willing to undertake training if you don't hold)Be a team player who is willing to collaborate, listen, learn and fit in with the culture of the Wyer & Co team.
