JKG Building is looking for an experienced and organised Estimator / Office Assistant to work closely with the builder and assist with the day-to-day running of a busy residential construction business.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the building industry, is confident dealing with trades, suppliers and clients, and can help keep projects, pricing and office administration organised.Key responsibilitiesDaily communication with tradespeople, suppliers and subcontractorsPreparing estimates and costing residential building worksCompleting quantity take-offs from plans and specificationsSending out plans and scopes for quotations and following up pricesComparing subcontractor and supplier quotesAssisting with budgets, variations and project costingsCommunicating with clients regarding selections, pricing and project informationMonitoring and responding to emails and phone callsHelping coordinate trades,
