We operate a brand new multi-combination fleet and pride ourselves on safety, reliability and doing the job right — every load, every day.The roleYou will be operating A-double combinations on structured transport runs daily between regional Victoria and Clayton, Melbourne.
Your responsibilities will include:Safely operating A-double combinationsCoupling, uncoupling and splitting trailer combinations, when requiredLoading, securing and checking freight before departureCorrectly applying and inspecting load restraints and lashingsCompleting daily vehicle and trailer pre-start inspectionsFollowing approved routes, schedules and site requirementsCompleting delivery paperwork and electronic job recordsImmediately reporting defects, delays, incidents and safety concernsComplying with fatigue, mass, load-restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirementsMaintaining professional communication with operations, customers and site teamsWhat you'll needTo be considered,



you must have:Previous A-double or B-double driving experienceStrong practical experience in load restraint including chains and binders.A sound understanding of fatigue management, mass requirements and Chain of ResponsibilityA good driving history and strong safety recordA reliable, professional and team-focused attitudeThe ability to complete paperwork and use electronic driver systemsAustralian working rightsWhy drive with MCM Construct?
