Australian Sustainable Finance Institute Limited – Canberra ACTASFI is looking for a capable, organised and hands-on Marketing & Events Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of our marketing, communications and events activity.This is a practical coordination role for someone who enjoys getting things done, keeping people and projects organised, and making sure communications, presentations and events are delivered professionally and on time.You might already have solid experience in marketing, communications, events or administration and be looking for a role with more flexibility.
You may be returning to professional work after a career break, or simply looking for a position where you can use your experience without taking on a senior management or strategy remit.What you'll be doingWorking across our small team, you'll coordinate the moving parts behind ASFI's communications and events.
This will include:publishing and scheduling content across LinkedIn, our website, newsletters and member communicationsmaintaining our communications and content calendar and following up internal inputs and approvalsformatting and finalising PowerPoint presentations and routine communications materialscoordinating smaller events including webinars, roundtables and member eventsmanaging invitations, registrations, attendee communications, venues, catering, speakers and run sheetsliaising with external marketing, design, web, media and event providersmaintaining member, contact, event and mailing recordscoordinating and triaging incoming media enquiries for escalationproviding practical administrative support to keep marketing, communications and events activity moving.For our larger events and specialist communications work,



you'll work alongside external agencies and providers rather than being expected to do everything yourself.About youYou'll suit this role if you are someone who is naturally organised, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of the detail.You'll ideally bring:practical experience in marketing, communications, events or a related coordination roleexcellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlinesstrong attention to detailconfidence following up colleagues, suppliers and senior stakeholdersstrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPointsound judgement and an understanding of when something needs to be escalateda willingness to do both coordination work and the routine administration that comes with working in a small organisation.Experience with tools such as LinkedIn, Campaign Monitor, TryBooking, WordPress, Canva or Microsoft Teams would be useful, but isn't essential.Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is practical, switched on and happy to roll up their sleeves.About ASFIThe Australian Sustainable Finance Institute is the peak body for sustainable finance in Australia.
