a steady eye for detail and would enjoy supporting a team of passionate environmental professionals.
Working within our accounts and admin teams, you will assist in managing day-to-day financial and administrative operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional support both internally and to clients.Full-time or part-time (4-5 days/***** hrs per week)Level 5 Clerk award rates, or by negotiationOpen to Australian citizens and permanent residentsCore duties:Various bookkeeping, administrative and office tasks including:Prepare and issue invoices and statements, follow up outstanding paymentsReconcile bank accounts and credit cardsAssist with monthly financial reporting and budgetingMaintain company insurances and licensing, correspondence and documentationMaintain purchase records and equipment listsSupport payroll processing, HR administration and financial record management, compliant with relevant regulationsMaintain company records, databases, and filing systems, including secure document management and archivingManage contracts, proposals, project files and documentationProofread and deliver scientific and legal reports for submission to determining bodiesMonitor and contribute job progress in line with tight deadlines, including project budgets, assisting with travel arrangements and financial trackingAssist with general IT support for staff on and off siteMaintain and progress health, safety, and quality management systemsDaily administration and office upkeep.About YouYou are a multi-skilled,

You are an avid learner with a willingness to contribute to ongoing refinement of processes, supporting continuous efficiency and growth for staff and the business.Essential capabilities & experience:Finance, bookkeeping, business administration, or a similar roleStrong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)Excellent Microsoft Office skillsExceptional organisational and time management abilitiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills, including precise use of English vocabulary and grammarAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbsolute confidentiality.
You will not be able to discuss your work outside the office.
Our reports are legal documents, which are commercially confidentialAbility to work autonomously and seek assistance when required.Desirable capabilities & experience:Degree or certification in Accounting, Business Administration or related fieldsUnderstanding of project-based accounting and budgetingProject management/coordinationKnowledge/practice of small business legislationManagement of WH&S; procedures, records, auditsCurrent first aid certificateBasic IT administration, networking and system managementCurrent NSW driver's licenceManual driving experienceExperience in a consulting, professional services, or environmental organisationInterest in environmental and ecological conservation.Applications close:midnight Sunday 28th September ****
