Marlow & Peach is a fast-growing Australian home fragrance and cleaning products brand, selling direct to customers across the country.
We make our products ourselves at our warehouse in Springvale, and we're about to take a big step up: a new automated filling, capping, batch coding and labelling line is arriving in September, alongside current 200L stainless mixing vessels.We're looking for a Production Line Operator to help us run it.The roleYou'll work alongside our existing production team member to set up, run and look after the new line, and to mix batches of product.
Full manufacturer training on the line is provided - you'll be in the room for it.Day to day you'll:Set up and run the automated filling, capping, batch coding and labelling lineLoad bottles, monitor the line, clear jams and keep it movingCarry out changeovers between products and bottle sizesWeigh and mix batches of product to a batch sheet, using platform scales and a mechanical agitatorHandle raw materials and fragrance oils safely, following SDS and handling proceduresCarry out in-process quality checks - fill weight, cap seating, label placement, batch codes - and record themClean down the line and mixing vessels between runsCarton,



palletise and label finished goodsDo basic daily checks on the line and air compressorKeep the production area clean, safe and organisedWhat we're looking forExperience on a filling and capping line, packaging line, or similar automated production equipmentComfortable working around conveyors, pneumatic equipment and air compressorsExperience mixing or batching ingredients to a written formulaExperience handling chemicals or fragrance materials safelyFamiliarity with batch coding or date codingReliable and punctual, and able to follow a written procedure without cutting cornersNotices when something isn't right and stops to fix it rather than pushing onPhysically capable: standing for a full shift, lifting up to 20kgBasic numeracy for weighing to a batch sheetExperience in food, cosmetics, cleaning products or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly regarded.What's on offer$65,000 - $75,000 + super, depending on experienceFull time, Monday to Friday, day shiftFull manufacturer training on the new lineA small, direct team - you'll work closely with the owners, and your input into how things run will actually be usedA growing business with genuine progression as we scale in ****LocationSpringvale VIC ****.
