About HMRHMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface DRILLING, MINING and RAISEBORING services to clients across Australia.The RoleWe are seeking motivated Raisebore Assistants to join our drilling team.
In this role, you will support the Raisebore Driller in the safe and efficient operation of raiseboring equipment on mining projects.Working as part of a crew, you will assist with rig setup, rod handling, equipment maintenance, and general drilling tasks while maintaining high safety standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic who is looking to build a long-term career in the drilling and mining industry.Rosters: 14:14FIFO from BrisbaneAccommodation and meals providedResponsibilitiesAssist the Raisebore Driller with daily drilling operationsProvide hands on support to raisebore operations by helping set up equipment, manage tools, and uphold site safety and efficiency.Support the safe and effective loading and unloading of drill rods, casing,



and other drilling materials.Follow all site safety procedures and company policiesCarry out manual handling duties and provide operational supportMaintain a clean and safe work environment12 months experience in underground mining, drilling, or heavy industryWorking at heightsQualifications / RequirementsPass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screeningPolice clearance within 6 monthsFirst Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)White CardManual Driver's LicenceWhy HMR?
