Rural Health Group (RHG) is seeking a Fellowed General Practitioner to join our current general practice in Biloela, Central Queensland.

The practice is being established to provide high-quality, patient-centred primary healthcare to the Biloela community and surrounding region. This is an prospect to join the practice from its establishment and play an important role in developing a sustainable general practice service for the local community.

The successful GP will work alongside dedicated nursing and reception staff and will also play an important role in supporting the practice's medical workforce through the supervision and mentoring of doctors requiring supervision.

The opportunity includes:
70% of billings
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
No after-hours or on-call requirements
No weekend or public holiday work

Relocation support

The role encompasses comprehensive general practice services, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment, chronic disease management, preventative healthcare, investigations, referrals and coordination of ongoing patient care.

About You

Applications are welcomed from FRACGP or FACRRM Fellowed General Practitioners interested in a permanent rural general practice chance and contributing to the development of a new practice.

We are particularly interested in GPs with experience or an interest in supervising and mentoring other doctors and who are willing to meet the relevant requirements to support supervised doctors within the practice.

Applicants will require appropriate registration with the Medical Board of Australia/AHPRA, eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number for the practice location, qualified indemnity insurance, current CPR certification and a satisfactory criminal history clearance.
