Are you an experienced and qualified Formwork Carpenter with an eye for detail, looking for secure, long-term local work?

Our client, a WA-owned manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete products, is seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Formworker based in Naval Base. This is an ongoing role offering excellent rates and a pathway to permanency.

The Role

n

Working within a busy precast facility your main responsibility will be to lead formwork teams along with reading precast panel shop drawing and helping with estimation of hours to construct panels.

n

Other duties will include:

n

n
Follow all safety procedures, use mandatory PPE (masks), and keep work areas tidy
n
Safely set out, assemble and secure concrete formwork, shutters and cast-in items in accordance with drawings, specifications and tolerances.
n
Assist with concrete placement, vibration and finishing, carrying out basic quality checks and reporting any defects or non-conformances.

Prepare, strip, clean and reset formwork and moulds to support planned production cycles while maintaining safe, tidy work areas.
n
Supporting other areas of production as required

About You

n

To be successful, you'll need to demonstrate the following:

n

n
Proven experience as a concrete formworker / carpenter (precast or commercial setting)
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality finishes
n
Solid teamwork and communication skills
n
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
Physical fitness and the ability to pass a medical + drug & alcohol screen
n
Monday to Friday
n
5:00am starts up to 12 hours days (approx.)
n
$60 per hour + super (Flat Rate)
n
Consistent hours, excellent team, and long-term stability
