Northside Clinic is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. The position is casual (weekdays, after hours and weekends) with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave.

n

Northside Clinic has a particular focus on providing quality medical care in a secure and friendly workplace for the LGBTIQA+ and HIV positive communities in Melbourne's inner north. We also provide General Practice care to the local community in Fitzroy North.

Responsibilities nn
Welcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointments
n
Answer and respond to telephone enquiries in a courteous and professional mannerAccurately process patient payments (cash, EFTPOS, direct billing)
n
Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records
n
Contribute to the smooth daily operations of the medical center

Prior Experience: Previous experience in an accredited general practice is preferred.
n
Software Proficiency: Experience using Best Practice software is a significant advantage.
n
Relevant Experience: Retail experience may be beneficial.
