We are working with a large highly regarded insurance organisation which is seeking Senior Life Claims Consultants who are wanting to take the next step in their career.

The Opportunity n

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of claims while guiding and supporting others utilising your technical expertise and in depth claims experience.

Key Responsibilities n

n
Manage a reduced and more technical portfolio of life insurance claims from assessment through to resolution.
n
Be a point of reference for the team on technical and complex claims matters.
n
Conduct claim reviews and provide guidance and advise on claim strategies.
n




Develop Injury Management and Return to Work Plans.
n
Proactively manage claims reserves and review information as circumstances change.
n
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support appropriate recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
n
Provide a high level of customer service throughout the claims process.
n

About You nn
Several years’ experience managing a portfolio of Group or Retail Life Insurance claims.
n
Experience conducting claims reviews.
n
Proven ability in coaching and guiding others from a technical and claims management perspective.
n
Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
n
Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
n
A genuine desire to support people through injury and recovery.
n
Confidence communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
n
