You will coordinate purchasing, receiving, stocktaking, pricing and stock management across multiple sites while ensuring stock is available to meet operational and production requirements.This is a varied role combining pharmaceutical stock control, purchasing, retail support, supplier liaison and continuous improvement.
Your work will directly support our pharmacy teams and help ensure medications and essential products are available when our aged care customers need them.Aspect Health is one of Queensland's largest providers of pharmacy services to the aged care industry.




We deliver exceptional customer service through cutting-edge systems, state-of-the-art technology and efficient medication-management processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing and Supplier CoordinationCoordinate monthly bulk orders across Aspect Health sitesReceive and reconcile monthly ordersProcess invoicing as requiredReview order quantities quarterly and adjust them according to business needsLiaise with pharmaceutical representatives and suppliersConduct pricing reviews and upload pricing information into FredSupport purchasing decisions, preferred-brand arrangements and budget requirementsAssist the Head of Financial Operations and Managing Director with additional purchasing and improvement initiativesStock ControlReceive, check and accurately record incoming goodsMaintain accurate physical and system stock levelsEnsure timely and accurate replenishment across the pharmacies and packing hubComplete monthly stocktakes and provide relevant reportsMaintain stock records within inventory systemsConduct regular stocktakes of consumablesManage short-dated, expired, excess, slow-moving and dead stockInvestigate stock discrepancies or non-compliant purchasing, implement corrective actionHelp ensure production schedules are supported by appropriate stock availabilityRetail SupportSupport retail merchandising and product presentationAssist with retail category ranging and pricingMonitor compliance with banner-group requirementsProvide retail purchasing support across pharmacy sitesCustomer Service and Continuous ImprovementWork closely with pharmacy management,



stock representatives and other departmentsDeliver professional and friendly service to internal and external customersIdentify opportunities to improve stock-control processes and reduce wastageDocument and refine stock processes and workflowsProvide regular progress reports to the Head of Financial OperationsPromptly address, resolve and report stock-related challengesMaintain accurate records and complete required documentationAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:At least two years' experience as a Stock Controller, Storeperson or in a similar inventory-focused rolePharmacy, pharmaceutical, healthcare or allied-industry experience, which would be highly regardedStrong attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracyExcellent organisation, planning and time-management skillsExperience using inventory or warehouse-management softwareGood computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeA solutions-focused approach with strong initiative and driveThe ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamA strong customer-service focusA valid Australian driver's licenceAlignment with Aspect Health's vision, mission and valuesExperience using Pharmacy Systems and an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice principles and standards will be highly regarded.You must also be willing to follow all Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, gowning standards and dress requirements when entering controlled production areas.A National Police Certificate will be required in accordance with company policy.Why Join Us?
