LINK Community Transport (LINK) is a not-for-profit Company that services, benefits and supports diverse community groups, inclusive of the ageing population, people of all abilities and their carers (including those with culturally diverse backgrounds) by providing life-enriching services through effective, accessible, and versatile social and home support.MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Co-ordinate and supervise a small group of peopleHosting an outing for up to 8 hoursAssisting clients in and out of the vehiclesCo-ordinating seating at venues,



ordering of meals and beverages.Socialising and engaging with the groupOverseeing the daily running of the outingSkills:Exceptional Customer Service SkillsVersatile people skillsAbility to communicate with people at all levels and from diverse backgroundsSound attention to detailAbility to work as part of a teamTraining will be providedCategory Community ServicesCommitment Regular - more than 6 monthsType Of Work Companionship & Social Support,Driving & Transportation,Seniors & Aged Care,Time Required Some of our longer outings (e.g. Bendigo, Echuca) can make for a long day.
If you're available for early starts, that's a huge advantage.
Majority of our outings leave from our Preston HQ.
A smaller number leave from the Western suburbs.Training Orientation/Induction, First Aid, Mentoring in the field
