Assistant Financial Control AccountantJoin our Finance & Advice team as an Assistant Financial Control Accountant, supporting the integrity and accuracy of financial records across the Group.This role is a permanent full-time role open to applicants in Brisbane or Sydney.This is a hands-on accounting role focused on month-end close, reconciliations and general ledger accuracy within a large, complex financial services environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring financial information is complete, accurate and compliant.What You'll DoComplete month-end close activities including preparing journalsMaintain balance sheet and bank reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timelinessInvestigate and resolve ledger and reconciliation issuesEnsure financial transactions are correctly recorded in the general ledgerSupport audit requirements and respond to audit queriesApply financial control standards, policies and governance requirementsContribute to improvements that strengthen accounting processes and controlsWhat You'll BringDegree in Accounting or related discipline2+ years' experience in a junior accounting, assistant accountant or similar roleExperience with reconciliations,
