An established national infrastructure services business is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and grow its presence across Queensland. The business has an excellent reputation for delivering specialist services across some of Australia's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. With an existing presence in Queensland, this role will focus on strengthening key relationships, creating current opportunities and driving the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities

n

Lead business development activity across Queensland

n

Build relationships with Tier 1 contractors, asset owners and government clients

n

Identify opportunities across infrastructure, defence, resources, utilities and industrial sectors

n

Develop and manage a solid pipeline of future work

n

Work closely with estimating, operations and senior leadership teams

n

Support tenders, proposals and commercial negotiations

n





Represent the business at client meetings and industry events

n

Help shape the long-term growth strategy for Queensland

n

About you

n

Business development experience within painting and blasting, protective coatings, asset remediation or a related infrastructure service

n

Experienced construction and infrastructure Business Development Managers

n

Solid relationships with Tier 1 contractors, asset owners and key industry stakeholders

n

Good understanding of complex infrastructure projects and contracting environments

n

Commercially focused with a track record of developing and converting opportunities

n

Confident building relationships at senior and executive level

n

Able to work independently while collaborating with teams across the wider business
