We are looking for a Leading Hand Boilermaker to join a team in Currumbin.
n
This is a temp-to-perm role with the goal of transitioning the employee to a full time employee
n
Location: Currumbin
Duties of the role: n
n
Lead, coordinate, and perform fabrication, assembly, and plant maintenance.
n
Provide technical guidance and mentor apprentices and boilermakers.
n
Allocate daily tasks, manage workflow, and ensure high-quality workmanship.
n
Interpret engineering drawings and manage digital maintenance records
n
Organise materials, raise purchase orders where required, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
n
What We’re Looking For: nn
Cert III in Mechanical Engineering (Boilermaker/Welder) or higher.
n
5+ years of post-trade experience (ready for a step up!).
n
Robust leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
n
Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1554 & AS1657).
n
Hours of work: n
Monday to Thursday 6.00 am to 2.10 pm, Friday 6.00 am to 12.00 pm

Pay Rates n
$65.37 per hour
Weekly Pay cycle n
Overtime rates payable when applicable
