An established mid-sized Australian bank is appointing a Head of Information Technology to lead the run of its technology operations.

n

Melbourne | Hybrid, 3 days in office | $275,000 to $300,000 plus super | 6 month contract, with an opportunity to convert to permanent

Direct reporting line to the Chief Technology Officer

The role carries end to end ownership, cloud and infrastructure through to service delivery, business systems and technology GRC
n
This is a focused operational remit. Transformation, product and change sit under a separate function, which means this role is free to concentrate on reliability, resilience and supplier performance without competing delivery priorities
n
Hybrid working, 3 days in the Melbourne office
n
A 6 month contract with a genuine intent to convert to permanent
n
Explicit ownership across infrastructure, service management and business systems
n

What You'll Be Doing nn
Owning BAU performance across cloud, infrastructure, network and workplace technology
n
Governing business systems support, including core banking applications, Dynamics CRM and QRM
n




Holding Line 1 technology risk and control outcomes, including audit and regulatory readiness
n
Managing strategic technology suppliers and outsourced infrastructure performance
n
Leading incident, problem, change and service level management across the technology estate
n
Building capability and succession across the operational leadership team
n

What We're Looking For nn
Extensive senior technology operations leadership in banking, financial services or another regulated workplace
n
Solid knowledge of technology governance, operational risk and resilience practices
n
Working knowledge of APRA prudential standards, including CPS 230 and CPS 234
n
Demonstrated experience with major incident management, continuity and disaster recovery.
