This is an opportunity for experienced Electrical Supervisors with strongOil & Gas, LNG, Mining, Process Plant and Heavy Industrial Constructionbackgrounds who can lead electrical crews, maintain high safety and quality standards, and deliver work safely against project schedules.
PROJECT DETAILS
Project Location:Karratha, WA
Roster:2:1 FIFO
Karratha Local:DIDO available for Karratha residents
Point of Hire (POH):Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide
Travel:Flights provided in line with project travel arrangements and flight schedules
Employment:Full time project work
Hours:Approx.
70 hours per week
Duration:12+ months
Mobilisation:Immediate
Rate + Allowances + Superannuation
Weekly pay
RDO:1 per swing, subject to project requirements
Breaks:Paid break applies when working over 10 hours
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Minimum 7+ years' post-apprenticeship experience in heavy industrial electrical/instrumentation construction, with demonstrated electrical supervisory experience.
Construction experience acrossMining, Oil & Gas, LNG, Process Plants or Heavy Industrial projects.
Supervise electricians, Leading Hands and Trade Assistants across allocated electrical work fronts.
Coordinate daily electrical activities, work fronts and manpower allocation.
Monitor productivity, work progress, priorities and project milestones.
Supervise electrical construction activities includingcable pulling, cable tray and ladder installation, conduit, lighting and small power installation.




Coordinateglanding, terminations and electrical installation activitiesin accordance with project requirements.
Read and interpretelectrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules and termination drawings.
Coordinate with Leading Hands, Superintendents and other project teams to maintain efficient work fronts.
Manage sitepermits, isolations and LOTO requirementsin accordance with project procedures.
Monitor quality requirements, inspections and completion of electrical installation activities.
Conduct dailypre-starts and toolbox talksand promote a strong safety culture.
Ensure electrical works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Supporttesting, pre-commissioning and commissioning activitieswhere required.
Assist withpunch-list close-out, completions and handover requirements.

Current WA Electrical Worker Licence
High Risk Work Licence - WP, where required
Working at Heights - within 2 years
Construction White Card
