Sensible Care is looking for a Turkish- and English-speaking Casual Care Worker to support a client in Oakleigh South.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised care, companionship, and practical support while helping a client feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their own home.Turkish language skills are essential for this role, as you will communicate directly with the client in Turkish.
Good English communication skills are also required when communicating with the client, family members, and the Sensible Care team.What You'll Be DoingAssist the client with personal care and daily living activities, as requiredCommunicate with and support the client in TurkishCommunicate clearly in English with the client, family members, and care teamProvide Domestic Assistance and help with household tasksAssist with meal preparation and everyday routinesProvide companionship and emotional supportBuild a warm, respectful,



and trusting relationship with the clientFollow the client's care plan and individual support requirementsObserve and report any changes in the client's needs or wellbeingCommunicate with family members and the Sensible Care team as neededFollow health, safety, and infection-control requirementsAbout YouYou will be someone who:Speaks Turkish fluently or is highly proficient in TurkishHas previous experience providing Personal Care Assistance — preferredHas Domestic Assistance experience — also welcomeHas an Individual Support or Aged Care qualification — preferredHas a nursing background — highly regardedIs caring, patient, reliable, and respectfulHas strong communication and interpersonal skillsIs comfortable working in a client's homeIs available on weekdays between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, with morning availability preferredHolds a current Australian driver's licenceHas comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicleWhy Join Sensible Care?
