In this vital role, you'll help ensure our brand-recent hotel is kept in immaculate condition through a range of minor maintenance and repair tasks.
You'll play a key role in upholding the high standards of comfort, safety, and sustainability our guests expect.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house (including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and furniture fixes)Respond to maintenance requests swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to guestsSupport preventative maintenance under the guidance of the Director of EngineeringInspect areas regularly to identify issues, report hazards, and escalte major repairsAssist with refurbishments,



room turnovers, and event setupKeep tools and equipment safe, clean, and functionalFollow all WHS and hotel safety/security proceduresCommunicate effectively with teams across departmentsProvide professional, discreet customer service at all timesWhat We're Looking ForExperience in a maintenance/handyperson role (ideally in hospitality or commercial buildings)Please note: This is a 24/7 operations, a level of flexibility and weekend work will be required to be succesful in this role.Competency in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasksStrong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detailAbility to work independently with a commitment to safety and guest privacyGood physical fitness and manual dexterityQualificationsTrade qualification (preferred but not essential)White Card and/or Working at Heights certification (desirable)Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic digital toolsWhat You Can Look Forward To:A 'Designed by Nature' luxury work environmentHealth & wellness eventsTeam member recognition programsHotel stays at exclusive team ratesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
