We're seeking an experienced, qualified herbalist to take a senior role on our sales floor – someone who knows plants well, works with confidence, and can run the dispensary's day-to-day systems without close supervision.This is not an entry-level retail position, and suited for someone with experience.
You will be a point of contact for the dispensary, and the person we rely on to keep stock, systems, and the shop floor running properly.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking the sales counter as a point of contact for customer consultations, drawing on your herbal training and practice experienceDelivering warm, attentive customer serviceTaking ownership of dispensary organisation, including stock control, systems, and day-to-day operationsManaging retail tasks efficiently,



exercising your judgement to prioritise and adjust tasks as the day demandsSkill & ExperienceQualifications & ExperienceCan prescribe herbs from your qualification or association membershipA minimum of 3 years' working in a relevant fieldBased in or near BellingenAvailable for rotating fortnightly weekend shifts; permanent weekend availability preferredSkills & AttributesStrong customer service and consultation skillsHigh attention to detail; effective, organised, and comfortable owning systems and processes without close supervisionExcellent communication skills, with the ability to receive feedback well and adjust to new tasks quicklyCapable of multitasking and staying on track in a busy shop environmentGenuinely systems-minded, not just tidyCalm and effective under pressureDisciplined about maintaining existing systems and processesExperience with online task management systems
