You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while gaining valuable hands‐on experience across a broad range of human resource functions.About NQCranesNQCranes is a market leader in the design, manufacture, maintenance, and repair of Overhead Travelling Cranes and associated materials handling equipment throughout Australia.About the RoleReporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of weekly payroll (100+ employees) and supporting key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management and performance review coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesPayrollEnd-to-end processing of weekly payroll for 100+ employeesMonthly Reporting including Payroll Tax & Coal Long Service LeaveInterpretation and application of awards, individual flexibility agreements,



enterprise agreement and payroll legislationMaintaining payroll compliance and confidentiality at all timesHuman ResourcesCoordinating employee onboarding and offboarding processesAssisting with recruitment activities including drafting job advertisement, screening applications, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checksCoordinating staff performance review processesMaintaining accurate and confidential employee recordsAbout YouDemonstrated end-to-end payroll processing experienceExceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlinesHigh level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrityStrong communication and organisational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteCurrently studying, or have completed, a qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related disciplineExperience within manufacturing, industrial or blue-collar environmentsExposure to HR administration, recruitment and/or employee lifecycle activitiesWhat We OfferOpportunity to gain practical HR experience while completing your studiesSupportive and team-oriented team environmentDiverse role combining Payroll and Human ResourcesMonthly RDO
