Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) is looking for enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing teams across the Sunshine Coast.
About Sunshine Coast Radiology
Sunshine Coast Radiology is the largest medical imaging provider on the Sunshine Coast and part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostics (IDX) network.
With 13 clinics Spanning the Sunshine Coast , we offer opportunities to work in desirable locations and clinical environments, supported by experienced and friendly teams.
Our teams are committed to providing an exceptional patient experience, from the moment a patient walks through our doors to the completion of their appointment.
About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.
Your day will include:
Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional serviceManaging appointments, bookings and patient enquiriesAnswering phones and responding to patient queriesProcessing accounts, Medicare and private health claimsSupporting Radiologists, Sonographers and RadiographersMaintaining accurate and confidential patient informationLiaising with patients, referrers and medical practicesAssisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practiceParticipating in team meetings, training and ongoing development
About You

approachable and genuinely enjoy helping othersConfident communicating with patients and healthcare professionalsOrganised, reliable and able to multitaskComfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environmentProfessional and respectful when handling confidential informationA team player who is willing to learn and support othersPrevious medical reception or healthcare experience is highly regarded, but we're also open to candidates with solid customer service and administration experience.
